This film was in the competition for children and youth films at Berlin Film Festival 2014. And that is a stamp for quality. For me it was the highlight of the festival. It was the story line and the actors that I think made the film. It’s about trying to sing in the MGP competition, a very popular song contest for young people both in Denmark and Norway. But of course it’s about more than that. It’s about friendship and the feeling that young people are one way or another connected. It’s also about the integration and multi-cultural society but with a little twist. ‘Being foreign, does not necessarily have to be a person from a far-away country…’
